On March 6, 2019 Dr. Foley participated in “Inside Saudi Arabia’s Growing Arts and Culture Scene,” a round table held at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC. There he spoke about his new book, Changing Saudi Arabia: Art, Culture, and Society in the Kingdom, alongside Saudi journalist Jasmine Bager and British artist Stephen Stapleton. The MEI’s Kate Seeyle moderated the event. The round table, which lasted over an hour, was broadcast live and later made available on YouTube.
